About collision repair
Collision repair with OEM-minded discipline
Real collision repair is not “hammer it flat and shoot color.” It is structural geometry, corrosion barriers, restraint and ADAS sensor geometry, refinish chemistry, and documentation—executed so the car behaves, seals, and presents the way the manufacturer intended.
What we hear from owners follows a pattern: an estimate that ignored hidden damage until teardown, parts that do not match how the car was built, paint that looks fine in the booth and wrong in daylight, or a finish bill that ignores how you will sell or lease the vehicle later. Those outcomes usually trace to rushed planning, weak measuring, or a shop that treats every car like the same commodity job.
Imported Dynamics approaches collision as a systems repair. We document damage, sequence structural and body work before refinish, choose OEM-minded parts and materials for your line, and close with QC that includes the details owners actually live with—panel gaps, blend lines, electronics, and a delivery conversation you can stand behind.

Training is not a sticker—it is how we read procedures, justify weld and sectioning choices, and refuse shortcuts that trade long-term safety for cycle time.
OEM Parts & Top-Tier Finishes
Correct parts and refinish systems protect crash performance, corrosion paths, and resale. We match what the vehicle line expects—not whatever is cheapest on the shelf.
Advanced Equipment
Structural benches, measuring, pulling, and calibration tooling turn “looks straight” into numbers you can defend if the vehicle is ever questioned again.
Lifetime workmanship warranty
Covers defects attributable to our labor and workmanship on the documented repair under written terms—not unrelated damage afterward, corrosion, abuse, or failures covered only by a parts manufacturer.

Our work
Front Corner Collision Repair — Before & After
The vehicle sustained moderate front-corner collision damage that affected the bumper cover, fender alignment, mounting points, and surrounding body panel fitment. The impact shifted the bumper assembly out of position, distorted the fender contour, and created uneven panel gaps around the headlamp and wheel opening area. In addition to the visible cosmetic damage, the collision also compromised underlying attachment structures and alignment points that are critical to proper panel seating and long-term fitment stability.
To restore the vehicle, our collision repair team performed a complete disassembly and structural inspection of the damaged corner to identify all affected components beneath the exterior panels. Damaged mounting hardware and attachment areas were repaired or replaced, panel alignment was re-established to OEM specifications, and the bumper and adjacent body components were precision-fitted to restore factory gap tolerances and contour lines.
Following structural and fitment correction, the repaired area underwent professional refinishing and color blending procedures to ensure a seamless transition across adjacent panels under all lighting conditions. Final quality-control inspections verified panel alignment, surface finish consistency, and proper assembly retention, resulting in a clean, delivery-ready repair that restores both the appearance and structural integrity of the vehicle.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about Collision Repair
Straight answers about how we approach this work—what to expect, how decisions get made, and how we communicate with you (and your insurer when applicable).
Structural and suspension repairs follow OEM repair procedures and tolerance checks. We verify alignment, fasteners, and safety systems as specified for your vehicle. If ADAS or sensors were affected, calibration is addressed so driver-assistance features perform as intended before delivery.
We recommend OEM or OEM-approved parts when they match your coverage and repair plan. Some policies specify aftermarket or recycled parts in certain situations—we’ll explain what applies to your claim, how it affects fit and finish, and document approvals so the repair stays consistent with insurer requirements.
Rental coverage depends on your policy. We can coordinate timing with your carrier and rental provider around repair milestones so you’re not left without a plan. Ask your advisor what your policy allows and what documentation the insurer needs.
In collision repair, “lifetime” workmanship coverage usually means we stand behind the labor and repair quality for the work we performed—often for as long as you own the vehicle—not unlimited coverage for every future incident, mechanical failure, or cosmetic issue. What it is intended to cover: problems reasonably attributable to our workmanship on the repair described in your final paperwork, when you use and maintain the vehicle normally and follow refinish and care instructions we provide. What it commonly excludes: new collisions, impacts, or road hazards; vandalism; hail or environmental events; rust or corrosion progression; damage from another shop’s subsequent work; unauthorized alterations; neglect or abuse; stone chips and ordinary wear; improper washing or failure to follow cure/care guidelines; and defects covered exclusively under a supplier’s parts warranty. Parts may carry separate manufacturer warranties. Duration, transferability, claim procedure, and exclusions are spelled out on the written warranty provided at delivery—your advisor reviews this with you before you leave. Keep your invoice and warranty documents.
